Hi everyone,
My name is Annemarie and I was born in Korea but raised in the US!
It’s been a few years since I moved back to Korea so I am well aware of the Korean culture and society. At first, I had to really navigate through my life here especially coming from America but now I love nothing more than living in Seoul. I’m really excited to be your Eggbun coach as I will gladly share what Korean culture is like through my own personal experiences. And the fun thing about learning a new language is that there are certain expressions that you can only express in that specific language; meaning there are no direct translations! But that’s okay because you’ll get to develop another sense of communication.
I will do my best to help you gain an understanding of the Korean language and culture in the most interesting and exciting way:)

I don’t use PayPal, what should I do?
Please, choose "Pay by credit or debit card" when pressing on a Checkout button. You don't have to be a PayPal user and can pay straight with your debit or credit card.
What if I don't know Hangeul/am a total beginner?
No worries! You can still apply for this class! Just email us after applying for the course. We provide beginner users with premium subscription (access to all the lessons in our app) earlier so they could look through the necessary topics prior to the class.

What's the time the class will be held? What if I'm in a different timezone?
No worries! Actually, most of our students are all from different timezones :) The class is designed in a way that you don't have to be online at some exact time.
Every day around evening-night time KST students get a daily topic to go through with Eggbun app and a daily assignment to solve. They then have around 24 hours to upload their solved work, which will be later given feedback by a native tutor.
Basically, you can go through a daily topic and work on your assignment any time of the day which is comfortable for you.
What is the refund policy on this class?
If you want to cancel this class due to any reasons, the following cancellation policy is used here at Eggbun:
- before the class starts - 100% refund
- first day of the class (Excluding orientation) - no refund, Eggbun School coupon equal to the class price
- starting from 2nd day of the class - no refund, Eggbun School coupon equal to the 50% of the class price
- starting from the 3rd day of the class - no refund, 25% of the price coupon
- starting from the 4th day - no refund, no coupon
